Passing beams

Summer brings transient beams of light that pass across the floor of Upper Antelope Canyon. The Navajo guides know where and when each beam will cross and are able to navigate tour groups generally to the right spots at the right time. Whilst it might be preferable to be left to one’s own devices to discover these wonders for oneself, those days are now long past at Antelope Canyon.
