Stephen, all the searches I did with place names came up with the correct locations. No issues there I could find. However, places like Landmannalauger are not searchable as you know. So I used the GPS location on the top of the TPE map and scrolled around to get to the location I was after. This is where the discrepancy shows up. The actual location for Landmannalauger is 63.59 26.73N, 19.03 37.32W. If you look on Google Earth you can actually see the camp ground at Landmannalauger. On TPE if you navigate using the GPS cordinates on the top of the map you end up in the middle of the glacier. Not sure why that would be so. Hope that helps in trying to explain what I am finding.
